Intro to Handgun & Basic Handgun Shooting is a great activity for people who are thinking of purchasing their first handgun, have purchased their first gun, or even experienced firearms owners.
Lytle Creek Firing Line is a family-friendly public shooting range that provides an enjoyable and well-regulated shooting experience. We encourage the shooting public to practice and improve their marksmanship and shooting skills by offering open shooting as well as many educational experiences for all levels of shooters.
FIRST TIME COMING TO THE RANGE?
Are you coming to the range for the first time? Thank you for considering Lytle Creek Firing Line as a place to shoot. We hope you enjoy the day with us. Lytle Creek has established rules for your safety and to maximize your shooting time, please a follow all of them.
Every Saturday of the month we will be holding a Trap Fun Shoot $5/round (25 shells) starting at 8:30 am.
If you aren’t sure or don’t know what you are doing with a shotgun, missing birds, or just want some practice this is the time to come out.
MODERN SPORTING RIFLES ARE WELCOME AT LYTLE CREEK FIRING LINE, we do require 10, 10/20, or 10/30 magazines. Those military “style” rifles purchased before 2000 should be accompanied with the DOJ Registration.
After July 1, 2018 Modern Sporting Rifles should be rendered “featureless” or be accompanied with Cal DOJ paperwork. If your not sure ask one of our RSOs they’d be happy to assist you.
This is a coached skill building and drills workshop for those interested in refining their handgun skills. Bring your holster.
